Nutrition

Clinical nutrition utilizes our knowledge of vitamins, mineral and botanicals to supply your body with the proper building blocks necessary to carry on the processes that maintain proper health. Vitamins and minerals are generally provided by a healthy diet however sometimes the diets that we chose are deficient in certain essential elements. With time these deficiencies cause the body to stop functioning the way it is intended. This may be subtle at first but may open the door of opportunity for disease and organ failure.

We commonly use nutrition to treat...

  • Digestion Problems
  • Irritable Bowel
  • Constipation
  • Anemia
  • Stress
  • Sinus Problems
  • Allergies
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Fatigue
  • Migraines
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – Learn more
  • Musculoskeletal Problems
  • Arthritis
  • High Cholesterol
  • Weight Loss
  • Sleep Disorders

How do we determine how clinical nutrition can help you?

We start with a diet history and a review of your medical conditions. We review all of your symptoms, some you may not know are relevant to your conditions. We are trained to listen for red flags to conditions that may be sub-clinical or producing mild symptoms. We look at you symptoms using three different algorithms to determine:

  1. Possible vitamins and or mineral deficiency
  2. Possible system dysfunction, Upper Gastrointestinal, Liver, Lower Gastrointestinal, Kidney, Adrenal, Hormonal, etc.
  3. Possible conditions associated with the systems you are having.

With this information, we put together an initial plan to get you started: as you improve, this plan will most likely need to change.
